Slam City Skates and adidas present the Mile End Meltdown, kicking off at Mile End Skatepark on Friday at 2pm for a jam on some freshly made obstacles before making its way to Slam City Skates East for giveaways, food and drink. Chewy Cannon, Benny Fairfax and Blondey McCoy will be on hand to judge sessions going down on a brand new pole jam, curb and picnic table, adding to what the park already has to offer. This seems like the perfect way to kick the weekend off early, so why not do so and head to the park on Friday.

“Next Friday make sure you get involved in the Mile End Meltdown event that adidas have planned for you. This could be the perfect way to kick off your Summer Holidays. On Friday July 20th your hosts will be Slam team rider Blondey McCoy, Benny Fairfax and Chewy Cannon. These guys have cooked up some challenges and obstacles which are going to get heavily sessioned on the day. These guys will be taking Tuk Tuks all the way from Slam East to Mile End Skatepark. Your part is easy, get to Mile End skatepark at 2pm or as quickly as you can. This will give you a chance to skate the new bits and pieces and will give you a good chance of winning some stuff on the day. You will be judged by these three on the Slappy Curb, Chewy’s Pole Jam Bonanza and the Picnic Table Linesman. After this everyone will retire to our East London Shop for giveaways, food, drink and more good times to begin the Summer Holidays the right way. See you down there!”
