Julesweat’s Dimlite – East London scene edit

East London scene happenings

Julesweat presents ‘Dimlite’, the latest edit to drop from the Mile End crew featuring shredding, partying and general waviness from across the capital. A solid slice of Mile End Skatepark ripping (which coincidentally is holding a jam in conjunction with Slam City Skates and adidas Skateboarding this Friday), a handful of Frontside Gardens clips which will have those who know teary eyed with nostalgia and action from all the classic London staples – Southbank, Jazz Square, Canada Water and more crop up over the course of fifteen minutes.

As always it looks like Dan is having plenty of fun with editing techniques, the video has a properly ‘crew rolling deep’ scene vibe about it and there’s even a flyout benihana for those who are that way inclined!

Mile End has been keeping local skaters busy since it was built back in 2011 and, while it may not boast the indoor miniramp and the original branch of Parlour Skate Store (RIP), is clearly the jump off point for heavy sessions with both locals and visitors alike. With Victoria Park just down the road and plenty of street spots dotted about the area, if you’re visiting the city then you could do much worse than heading that way…

Filmed and edited by Daniel Jules.

Additional filming by Kobe Munoz, Gabriel Zahriah, Arildson Viera and Helio Viera

Featuring Kyle Wilson, Jyrrel Roberts, Wojtek Lach, Zach Delarue, Adam Delarue, Daniel Jules, Jack Hamilton and more.

Julesweat edits are never few and far between so we imagine you won’t have too long to wait until the next one – especially with the summer in full swing offering up both more chance to skate and more hype for partying – but, until then, content yourself with a selection of his previous edits via the relevant text below;
