Long Live Southbank and Jenkem Mag present ‘Pillars of Society’, a Southbank video filmed and edited by George Toland which features a wide array of London skaters who spend the winter sheltering down in the infamous Undercroft. The edit’s purpose is to raise awareness of the current fundraising that Long Live Southbank are doing in order to open up and renovate the portion of Southbank (with the small banks) which is currently closed off – you can donate to that over on their website, or even head down there this weekend and partake in their flash shoe sale.
In the meantime, enjoy the dingy confines of the Undercroft getting a seeing too below and head over to Jenkem’s site for a selection of photos to accompany the video!
Featuring Jeremy Jones, Josh Mason, Tom Delion, Joel Banner, Sebastian Lemus, Conrad Pack, Max Critchlow, Jack Soden, Dylan Esposito, Sam Roberts, Jono Coote, Jake Snelling, Sam Earl, Joe Coward, Louis Antoine, Christian Estrada, Nelly Mayele, Domas Glatkauskas, David Yap, Stuart Maclure, Matt Nelmes, Louis Woodhead, Harry Turner, Greg Conroy, Cameron Allen Snow and Lukas Kacevicius.
You can read some words with George, alongside the other half of Serious Adult Greg Conroy, via the text below;
George: Well I’m working for Long Live Southbank and yeah, we were stoked! It was sick…
Greg: It rejuvenated it as well, when it was going to go people were coming so much.
