Blondey McCoy adidas 3ST wear test for Slam City Skates
When he’s not designing NYC murals for Burberry, getting run over by taxi’s for Palace or appearing on the cover of Japanese fashion magazine ‘Grind’, London’s own Blondey McCoy can sometimes be found blasting about the newly re-vamped Slam City Skates TF.
Located inside their warehouse in Ponders End on the outskirts of North London, the Slam TF recently had a little makeover courtesy of adidas, just in time for Mark ‘second best backside nollie flip of all-time’ Jackson to film and edit this little clip. As you’ll soon work out, Tom AKA Blondey is wear-testing the new adidas Skateboarding 3ST shoes here, along with apparently declaring his undying love to an unnamed potential suitor over the phone.

It’s pretty funny this to be honest, and in a universe were the mere phrase ‘wear test’ can drain all the joy from a sentence, Jackson, Blondey and whoever it is (or isn’t) on the other end of the phone are to be applauded for their ingenuity.
Watch the video, laugh a little and consider footwear…or love, unrequited or otherwise – I mean, it’s Wednesday after all: what have you got to lose?
After you’ve done the above – then you might as well take your eyes for a little picnic via a re-watch of Palace Skateboards recently (ish) released Palasonic video which you can find by following the magic blue letters somewhere within this sentence.
I’d point them out more clearly but hey, life needs a little mystery, doesn’t it?
Film/edit by Mark Jackson.
Music by Kit McArthur.
All hail not taking everything too seriously, well, other than hitting that Google-mandated 300 word SEO limit…
