Showing no signs of slowing down, 2009 saw Flip release Extremely Sorry with a mixture of OG heads like Rowley, Penny and Glifberg, young guns like Louie Lopez and David Gonzales, and a venerable legend in the form of Lance Mountain. The award for balls out savageness probably has to go to Jimmy Boyes and his ridiculous drop in towards the end of Geoffs section (even more gnarly when you know that Jimmy was then chased on foot by extremely pissed off security guards for miles)…however this doesn’t detract from Rowley’s absolutely mental level of skateboarding, marrying a disregard for personal safety with a solid bag of tricks and a one speed only full throttle steez.
