UK mega OG and deep friend of ours Lucy Adams is the latest skater to sit down with Matt Barr of the Looking Sideways podcast and, as with the earlier episode that featured skater/artist/top human Pete Hellicar, it’s a compelling listen.

Episode 14 of the Looking Sideways Podcast sees Matt Barr go to visit Lucy Adams at her home and spend an hour and a half discussing all aspects of Lucy’s life – from recently turning pro for Lovenskate Skateboards and releasing a pro model (which incidentally sold out in a week), filming video parts with Andy Evans, hitting her 20th anniversary of starting skating, her work with Skateboard England and her original route into skateboarding back when female skateboarders where almost completely absent from the UK.
Additionally, Lucy discusses her recent struggles with mental health issues in a very frank and open manner which, as we all know, is the first and most important step when it comes to dealing with this most pressing of issues.
