Louie Lopez Instagram Remix edit

Heavy tech precision from one of the Flip camp's most productive

Youtube user ‘Gloryboy’ follows up his Jamal Smith mash up with a Louie Lopez Instagram remix, featuring the 2017 SOTY contender and long term Flip Skateboards rider on chilling, mucking about mode – which, if anything, is even more impressive than his gnarlier footage in that he’s clearly not trying very hard to do some absolutely fucking ridiculous stunt planking. From Flip’s early 2000s child prodigy camp (see also Curren Caples, David Gonzalez and Luan Oliveira) to full size destroyer of some of the gnarliest spots to lay in wait around the globe, as well as being most likely a hair’s breadth away from SOTY 2017 status after his monster section towards the end of the year, Louie is clearly on one at the moment and as such we’re sure you can expect a solid dose of video output from him over the next twelve months.

Taken from both Louie’s Instagram account and that of Lui Elliott, this will put a smile on your face and most likely inject you with a yearning to be out on four wheels and a plank of wood right this minute. Skatepark tech, ridiculous combos at spots which look straight out of an early 90s Santa Cruz video, a smattering of transition destruction and a ballad which is so powerfully 80s it will have you snorting coke off of Pat Sharpe’s feathered mullet (if any of the necessary ingredients to this scenario are to hand which, let’s face it, they may well not be), this is not an Instagram remix to be trifled with! Sit back and enjoy four minutes of slightly pixelated, but still face meltingly good skateboarding from Louie and his magic legs…

Oh and of course the Southbank frontside flip to beer grab is the ender – could it have been any other way?
