Slam City Skates presents the Converse ‘Purple’ Premiere at the Prince Charles Theatre, taking place April 28th at 7:30pm. With tickets available from Slam’s Covent Garden store and on a first come, first service basis this is one to get hold of fast – the Converse Cons team sprawls its way across a wide array of skateboarding talent and as such a full length video from the team should offer something for everyone. The Prince Charles has a long history of hosting skate video premieres which turn into heavy, blurry nights, so best start preparing your livers now.
Beyond the blurb below we don’t have much in the way of what format the video will take, but rest assured that if it features the whole team then the skating within is going to be very gnarly indeed…
“There is a Converse video premiere imminent and you are invited! This promises to be a good one, it’s a proper full length video featuring the whole team. In this new world of diminishing attention spans you can often find us harping on about how things once were better. This isn’t the reaction of bitter old men. Our nostalgia is prompted by reminiscing about things which we enjoyed which may not play a prominent part for a younger generation. Basically there is going to be a premiere at the Prince Charles Cinema on Saturday April 28th and we are stoked. These premieres have always been amazing events which galvanised our scene and reunited us with friends from all over the country. We hope you can all join us there. Tickets to this premiere are free. You can pick up yours now from our Covent Garden Shop. These are strictly one per person and are available on a first come, first served basis. Here’s the trailer…”
