“I can speak for a fair few ‘campers’ when I say meeting Tom Knox on the train down to Truro was a good start to the week, although perhaps the five hours were a less of a highlight from Tom’s perspective! Regardless, it wasn’t long until we were out in the summer haze, overcrowding Truro Plaza and only stopping to eat, sleep or watch Pretty Sweet for the millionth time. Although for those who had managed to shower off their gritty skatepark residue and not collapse before 11o’clock, there was a break in the Pretty Sweet loop and we sat down to a mini Eleventh Hour premier.
The camp was every part of skating rolled into one, from that communal feeling to big switch back tails to broken ankles and nothing reduced by the beaming heat, except for Beall’s attempted tuck shop that ultimately became a box of free crisps.
Big up Mark, Danni and the rest for another great two weeks.”
