The House of Vans March Skate Dates are in, kicking off this Friday (March 2nd) with a Skate Fry-Day event followed by a Girls Skate Night the day after International Women’s Day (March 9th). While the snow stops play outside, take advantage of some undercover concrete and get involved! All the details you need can be found via the press release below;
“True to form House of Vans are hosting an array of their much loved skate events throughout March, including Girls Skate Night and Sk8-Frydays. Regular open skate sessions are also available, please see here for further details. For those less confident on a board, the ever-popular skate school is running throughout the month.”

Friday 9th March 18:00-22:00
Join House of Vans for their all-girl get together and come hit the bowl and street area from 18:00; two House of Vans tutors will be on hand to teach you the tricks of their trade, so if you’re a beginner worry not!If you need to reconcile with the universe, 19:00 it’s boards down time with an hour of free yoga with Grace Hazel Yoga.
The regular Girl Power gang GLR TLK DJs will be spinning the decks on the night while you get to enjoy cocktails on the house all night, courtesy of The Wall SE1.
Girl skating will be on all night until close – drink responsibly!
Yoga mats are provided on a first come first served basis. All ages and abilities welcome.

Sk8 Fry-Days

Join House of Vans for all the usual Sk8 Fry-Days shenanigans on March 2nd, this time under the sapient curation of their pals at Brixton’s Baddest.
If you’re not already familiar, one Friday, once a month House of Vans host a night that caters for a crew who want four hours of uninterrupted shred with a square meal at half time and a skate premiere in the cinema.
Expect cash for tricks jams, a generous dose of free fried chicken & beers plus an exclusive screening of the full length Brixton’s Baddest x Sk8 Frydays edit, filmed at House of Vans.
DJ Bryce will provide the entertainment, spinning hip hop and dub all night while Dogger & crew hand out cash for tricks in the street course, mini ramp and bowl jams.
The in-tunnel café The Wall SE1 will keep you fed and watered, with a delicious serving of fried chicken washed down with an ice cold beer.
