Irish super-8 mastermind Phillip Evans has announced that the heavily anticipated ‘The Scrum Tilly Lush’ will be premiering all over the place throughout January, starting tomorrow with it’s debut screening in Amsterdam.
The UK premiere for the project will be taking place at Slam City Skates in Covent Garden on Saturday 10th January at 6:30pm, so go along and show your support if you’re in town! The complete list of premieres is as follows:
Saturday 3rd Jan, Amsterdam- Spuisstraat 125A. (Nike sb pop up store) (c. 8.00 p.m)
Tuesday 6th Jan, Paris- French Kawa Cafe, 6 rue Planchat, metro Avron, ligne 2. (Event also featuring artwork from Phillip Evans, Olivier Ente, Soy Panday, David Tura and Sébastien Charlot.) (c. 8.00 p.m.)
Thursday 8th Jan, Dublin, venue to be confirmed.
Friday 10th Jan, Belfast, Concept skate shop, 33 Queen st. Featuring photography from Stu Robertson (c. 7.00 p.m.)
Saturday 10th Jan, London, slam city skates, 16 Neal’s yard, Covent garden. (c. 6.30 p.m.)
The all super-8 DVD should be in stores mid-January, with sections from Love Eneroth in Stockholm, Conhuir Lynn & Denis Lynn in Belfast, Nick Jensen in London, Soy Panday & Vivien Feil in Paris, Al Collins, Wayne Gallagher & Paddy Clear in Dublin, Janne Saario in Helsinki, Per Magnusson in Malmo and Danny Wainwright in Bristol.
