This week’s Footage Feast comes from the gnarly, fast side…rabid pushes, frontside airs, Negative Approach worship and kangaroo bollocks. Howard Cooke spread the LBP word to US shores in the late 90s; skating for Consolidated for awhile before returning to the UK and joining Fos’ Heroin team and becoming the subject of many a “he did what – at that spot?!?” conversation, like some kind of mach-ten myth. In between putting down his particular brand of skateboarding rawness he also played in two of the best hardcore bands to come out of the UK, Walk the Plank and Cold Ones, both as gnarly as his skating.
