Transworld Skateboarding and Theories Distribution presents ‘Patsy’, an edit combining footage of riders for various Theories brands with archive footage surrounding the John F Kennedy assassination and the conspiracy theory which claims that Lee Harvey Oswald was framed – in opposition to the conventional opinion, reached by the Warren Commission, that he acted alone in assassinating JFK (for more details on that, go look up the writing of Mark Lane or google the Magic Bullet Theory).

Anyway, as usual with anything edited by Josh Stewart this should give some faith – in these strange times leading up to skateboarding entering the Olympics and myriad arguments over what that might mean for our culture – that there are still plenty who are willing to head out into the streets, day or night, to dodge cracks, dog eggs and needles in the pursuit of domination of street furniture. Achieving the epithet ‘eclectic’ in the soundtrack for a four and a half minute edit is no easy feat, but Stewart achieves this with the help of lauded composer Philip Glass and obscure post-punk outfit Veda and this clip is all the better for it. Big up Theories, the real shit!
