Subvert Boardstore have raised over £27,000 for The Christie Charity since 2008 by hosting ‘Subjam’, their snowboard raffle with an accompanying jam session. All proceeds from the events have been donated to The Christie which is one of the largest hospital charities in the UK – with 83p of every pound going directly to patients. This year, Subvert are hosting an event at their Castleford skate shop and park where once again, all money raised on the day from raffle tickets and park entry fee will be going towards this good cause.

Prizes for the raffle are plentiful with product to be won from Adidas, Bones, Brixton, Chocolate, Descent, Emerica, Etnies, Grizzly, HUF, Independent, Lakai, The National Skateboard Co, Modus, Nike SB, Picture Wheels, Primitive, Spitfire, Thrasher and WeSC.

Raffle tickets are £1 per entry and skatepark admission is £5 for all day. Events kick off at 12pm with games of SKATE and best trick comps throughout while the raffle will begin at 4pm. The park is located inside Xscape, Castleford within Subvert Boardstore. From the main entrance head towards the snow slope and it can’t be missed.
