Blast Skates welcomes Joe Howard

Also featuring Blinky, Foz, Lee Rozee and Dean Greensmith

Power moves from Bromley here as Blast Skates welcomes Joe Howard to the team with two minutes of RWTB assisted DIY quarterpipe shredding, filmed and edited by Chris Pope AKA Cosmic Chunder AKA Switch Mute (and with a bevy of photographic bangers from Reece Leung backing it up over on Vague’s site).

Joe’s been one of the crew regularly putting in the graft on a number of recent DIY spots in Leeds; this one being the most recent one and hopefully one which will avoid council notice and keep on getting bigger, since the quarterpipe which this edit focuses on then was completed the place is approaching Dustbowl levels of fun. If you have some money burning a hole in your pocket and want to put it to better use than K Cider and boiled sweets, you can gain some karma points and help fund the spot by sending some money via Paypal to the spot email, which is [email protected]

If, on the other hand, you’re skint from the weekend’s cider and boiled sweet binge; then press play below, watch Joe and fellow DIY enthusiasts Blinky, James Foster, Dean Greensmith and Lee Rozee tear the quarter a new one and get yourself hyped to go out and skate, build and generally have it! Hopefully this means we can expect plenty of Joe footage in South London scene video/Blast affiliated production Blokes when it finally drags itself fully formed from the womb of Ed Hubert’s brain. Yep, that was a sentence…do something about it!
