Interesting, and, at times tragic documentary piece of the Oakland forest fires of 1991 that led to access to hundreds of pools that somehow survived the devastating inferno that virtually destroyed an entire residential area.
This video isn’t new but it just came to our attention and we thought it deserved a post.
Royce Nelson, Jake Phelps, Tony Farmer, Brant Kaake, Bill Hanley, Curtis Hsiang, Matt Neely, Ruben Orkin and various others hitting up the many Oakland pools unearthed by this tragedy. This is 100% worth a watch, new or not.
