Numbers Edition 4 – Magnus Bordewick

Big flip up a six stair...

Numbers Edition 4 – Magnus Bordewick

The latest edit to drop from the Numbers Edition camp sees Magnus Bordewick taking to the streets of Scandinavia without care for weathered ‘crete or cobblestone run ups/landings. Despite looking like someone in Maidstone town centre circa 2005 who is either going to aggressively shout the chorus of ‘Sk8er Boi’ at you or try and mug you, Magnus is solidly stylish on a board with a penchant for massively popped tricks and an ability to navigate the less than perfect terrain offered by Norwegian architecture with the same ease that most would cruise about MACBA.

The rewind moments stack up fast in this one despite its comparatively brief timeline, with the need to double check the ground proving too much for me anyway on more than one occasion. That big flip up the long six set in Berlin is worthy of a few watches, while the switch pop shuv which precedes it isn’t too shabby either!

Thankfully the editing of this piece follows on from the previous edition, eschewing the realist, ‘friends cruising through the streets without much in the way of editing’ approach of their first couple of releases in favour of a more hammers-centric style. This is probably something to do with Chris Mulhern sitting in the editing chair, a man whose output we’re always hyped on and who’s upcoming Philadelphia based video is bound to be killer – peep both the first and second trailers to whet your appetite for that one.

It was only this time last year that Magnus alongside our own Kyron Davis were welcomed to the team to join  Eric KostonGuy MarianoRodrigo TXMiles Silvas and Antonio Durao. Now to our minds, following on logically, this hopefully means Kyron has a similar clip on its way to follow this one? Fingers are well and truly crossed!
