Hastings 24 hour skateathon to raise money for the Boyley trust

Hastings is hosting a 24 hour skate-athon to raise money to rebuild the old Hastings skatepark in memory of local BMXer Richard ball. “The Boyley trust was set up for raising money to rebuild the hastings skatepark and named after a local bmx rider Richard Ball who was one of Britain’s number one riders in the 1990s from Hastings who was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident and the trust was set up. We hold several events each year to raise money and we have so far built two phases and are trying to raise money for the third, the second was opened last summer at a cost of £67k which was all raised by the Boyley trust.”
