2 weeks until the annual Girl Skate Jam UK at Pioneer Skate Park, St Albans on Saturday 1st August.
The first 2 hours (12-2pm) will be jam format so everyone will get a chance to skate.
Then it will be the comps for the Under 11’s (Groms), Under 18’s, Over 18’s, Miniramp and Sponsored. We might throw a best trick in there depending on how time goes. Bunch of prizes from a variety of brilliant sponsors up for grabs – Death, Rogue, Lakai, DC, Vans, Loud Headphones, Rokeo, Animal, Lovenskate and Footprint.
Hannah Bailey’s Tie Dye High Five will also be at the jam with tee shirts that you can use for the dying. Plus the usual BBQ and canteen. Entrance is around the side of the park, it’s £6 to skate and £2 to spectate, all proceeds go to Pioneer.
