Ciudad Libertad is a short documentary that focuses on a group of young Cuban skateboarders trying their best to bring up the sport and establish a skating community in their city, Havana, a place with little to no access to the resources and equipment needed to participate. Filmed in an impressionistic style, driven by imagery and music, this short documentary is deeply rooted in the textures and colors of Havana. Filmed and directed by Isaac Gale, produced by Jake Heinitz (Greenroom Magazine) and Steve Nesser (Familia Skateboarding) with an original score by experimental DJ and producer Andrew Broder (Fog). Featured in issue 005 of Greenroom Magazine.
