Boom Skatepark Birthday Jam Edit
Skater-owned Boom indoor Skatepark in Upton, near Pontefract celebrated its second anniversary on September 2nd with a skate jam, BBQ and video-screening night showing local videos and favourites of the owner Mark Johnson.
As always with this place, the quirky layout that Boom Skatepark offers got a right seeing to by locals and travellers alike with heavy sessions in both the street and ramp rooms.
In attendance were Boom regulars Tudor and the Barnsley connection, plus nearby heads from Wakefield, Huddersfield and Doncaster and the session went off until the BBQ was fired up and the brews flowed.
