Boardmasters 2017 Skate gallery
Last weekend saw Boardmasters return to its spiritual home of Fistral Beach, Newquay Cornwall for a weekend of blazing sunshine with a heavy line up featuring the likes of Jamiroquai and the The Flaming Lips on the main stage complementing the now traditional mix of skate, BMX and surfing action that gives Boardmasters its unique vibe.

Happily for us, Cornish based lens-man and deep Sidewalk pal Leo Sharp, (who lives just down the road in Truro) was on hand to document the mini ramp skate contest that, as always, got the cider drinkers hyped and kept the vibes high. With a brace of some the UK and Europe’s top tranny heads in attendance, the sesh was as hit as the sun, as you’ll see by scrolling through this gallery.

Matt Hunt was also on hand to capture miniramp madness from Jordan Thackeray, Sam Pulley, Alex Hallford, Matt Beer, Trevor Johnson, Dean Greensmith, Dannie Carlsen, Dave Morgan, Rowan Murray, Jake Sparham, Rob Jones, Jesse Thomas, Carl Wilson, Sox and more.

When all was said and done the mini ramp results were as follows:

1st. Dannie Carlsen

2nd. Sam Pulley

3rd. Jordan Thackeray

See you down on the beach next year for another banging Boardmasters weekend
