Boardmasters 2017 kicks off this week, running from Wednesday until Sunday with a solid line up of skaters set to hit the long serving miniramp set up alongside plenty of live music and booze fuelled shenanigans.

“Boardmasters is excited to announce the line-up for this year’s incredible Boardmasters Invitational Skate and BMX contests on the festival’s legendary CANNA Ramp. Located on Fistral Beach, the CANNA Ramp returns to host the top UK skate and BMX talent who will be descending to push themselves and each other to new levels of insanity. These exhilarating events are open to the public and free to attend.
Skaters such as 2016’s winner Dannie Carlsen, VANs Europe Pro Kris Vile, Eddie Belvedere, Element Europe’s Ross McGouran and VANs Daryl Dominguez will all be competing throughout the weekend among many others.
Boardmasters is also thrilled to announce the line-up for the Boardmasters Girls Skate UK (GSUK) ramp jam. Brand new for 2017, the girls skate jam will see 12 of the UK’s best skater girls compete at Fistral Beach for the first time and will include names such as Stef Nurding, Helena Long, Amy Ram and Danni Gallacher among others.
Girls Skate UK commented; “Girls Skate UK are heading to Boardmasters to compete from 1pm on Saturday 12th August. Come watch the likes of Santa Cruz rider Helena Long, Stefani Nurding, Danielle Gallacher, Amy Ram, Sam Bruce and others. Keep an eye out for a few of the young guns including Sky Brown (9) and Lola Tambling (9) and UK Enuff rider Roxana Hewlette (7) who will be battling it out.”“
