Vans x Spitfire latest collection - Era Pro, Chima Pro 2, K-Walks Pro and AV Rapidweld

When Vans and Spitfire Wheels come together it never fails and this latest collab drop is further proof of the untouchable collected power of these two titans of skateboarding.

This time around, Vans and Spitfire Wheels are reunited and deliver a new assortment of footwear, apparel and accessories for the spring season honouring team icons Anthony Van Engelen, Kyle Walker, Chima Ferguson and legend John Cardiel.
There’s something for every waffle head in this collection so get your wallets prepped.

To our mind, this is pretty much the perfect 2018 skate video – it’s a bit early to be calling video of the year, but this is going to be hard to beat.

The Vans x Spitfire collection highlights four shared influential team riders, with signature footwear styles such as the AV Rapidweld Pro Lite, the Kyle Walker Pro, the Chima Pro 2, and legend John Cardiel’s custom colorway of the Era Pro.

First up, here’s a collab iteration of the hugely popular Chima Pro 2 model.
If you can run pink then you’re going to struggle to find anything doper than this.

Each Pro Skate silhouette in the collection is built with Vans’ latest UltraCush Lite 3D or UltraCush HD technology, employing high-impact sockliners combined with Duracap reinforced uppers and Vans original waffle outsoles to provide high impact cushioning, maximum durability and ultimate boardfeel.

The AV Rapidweld Pro Lite and Chima Pro 2 feature Vans Pro Vulc Lite construction for reduced weight and advanced comfort while the Kyle Walker Pro’s Wafflecup technology delivers first-rate support and durability.

Next up is the Kyle Walker Pro in sky blue, presumably as a nod to his home city of Oklahoma and the endless blue skies of The Great Plains.

The Vans AV Rapidweld Pro Lite, complete with Vans Pro Vulc Lite construction, (as with the Chima Pro 2), is up next and it’s another banger.

The final footwear offering from this latest Spring 2018 Vans x Spitfire collection comes in the form of a John Cardiel customised skate-specific iteration of perhaps the most iconic of all Vans shoes: the Era Pro.
This is a firm favourite of ours as the combo of the Era silhouette, the colourway, the Pro Skate tech and John Cardiel’s personal endorsement make this an utter no-brainer.

Vans and Spitfire Wheels round out the collection with a full apparel assortment, including a matching set hoodie and fleece pant, two tees, a polo shirt, three hats and a skate duffel bag with board straps. The iconic Spitfire “Flame Head” logo, classic swirl and Vans checkerboard can be seen throughout the footwear, apparel and accessories collection.
