Mike Carroll is a skater’s skater, an O.G. EMB head and ambassador for good hip hop who has weathered numerous injuries and continued to make his presence felt both on a board and as an innovator in skate industry. He has been a pioneer at the centre of many of the biggest changes and advances in skateboarding over the last 25 years, with the Girl Skateboards camp now rolling 20 years deep. In the process he has released a slew of sections displaying his signature style, board control and love of 90s hip hop. As such it was no hardship to sit down and compile some of his greatest sections on the back of an exclusive interview conducted with Stephen Cox and found on the next page.
