The lost Jiri Bullin skate part via Isaac Wilkinson

Everyone's favourite Czech Mancunian drops his lost part

Here’s a little Friday treat for you all, courtesy of the lens of Isaac Wilkinson and the indisputably talented feet of Jiri Bullin. For those who don’t know, Jiri Bullin (or ‘George’ to give him his adopted Manc name) appeared on the UK skate scene around a decade ago after bumping into Stu Reynolds during a Black Sheep group trip to Prague and accepting an invitation to ‘move to Manchester’.
True to form, that’s exactly what Jiri did and has since developed one of the best hybrid Manchester/Czech accents we’ve ever heard, along with firmly establishing himself as a face on the UK scene. The clip that you’re about to watch contains footage collected by Isaac and Jiri over a 2 year period but, for whatever reason, has languished on a hard drive that big lad has carried around with him whilst being ‘socially powerful’ across the nation.
Anyhow – enough chatter – Isaac can explain the provenance of this banger better than I, so I’ll pass the mic over to him.

“Jiri and I had always filmed together since I started to shoot skaters properly. This edit is the culmination of 3-4 skate trips we made between 2014 and 2016. We went to Hong Kong with Seb Batty and Rikk Fields in 2015 and all that footage went through to separate edits, Jiri’s never surfaced until we decided to add most of it into 01Fuckin61 at the end of 2016.
As well as a trip to Hong Kong, we visited Prague, Znojmo (Jiri’s hometown), Innsbruck, Salzburg, Vienna along with a few exotic London locations in the mix too. At the time I realised that I had all of this footage sitting on a drive, so I put this together mid 2016 so that Jiri and I could watch it and then promptly forgot all about it. It wasn’t until Eddie Belvedere reminded me of it on our recent road trip around Italy (footage from that coming soon too) that I remembered that it existed. So here we are. I hope you enjoy the edit!”

If this has left you craving more Manchester-related goodies, then you’d be well-advised to check out more of Isaac Wilkinson‘s output, particularly his excellent Manchester video 0-1 Fucking 6-1, along with having a wander around the recent output of Jiri Bullin himself.

Jiri rides for Toy Machine (flow), Etnies, Black Sheep Store and Piilgrim Clothing.
