The Odeon 11 in Sheffield, (just around the corner from the much more heavily sessioned Subway spot), were a proving ground in the stair-jumping early 00’s.
Very few people stepped up after Mark Baines and Seth Curtis first ollied it in around 1994 with Joel Curtis, Grove, Silvester, Neil Smith, Dominik Dietrich, Mike Wright, Ben Cundall and Liam Sproat amongst only a few skaters to do anything more noteworthy than a straight ollie here.
The stairs are huge, the run up and run out surface is awful and the space itself attracted weirdos, lurkers and junkies.The stairs were skate-stopped MK ‘Biege’ style about 5 years ago so presumably nothing else will ever go down here. Enjoy…
