Wheels and Fins Festival will be warming up for the main event in September with an International Film Festival taking place this weekend, with things getting going on Saturday the 19th at the Palace Cinema in Broadstairs from 12pm to 7pm. Check the press release and flyer below and get along if you can!
“The Wheels and Fins International Film Festival is the first Action Sports focussed film festival in the area and has had submissions from 13 different countries spanning across five continents.
Judging the competition this year is an eclectic group of high achievers and social influencers in the film world. Raindance Winner Marc Price leads the team along with film critic Maxwell Hubbard, Simon Ward from the Independent Cinema Office (and Palace Cinema), director Dom Bridges and Festival Organiser Dave Melmoth.
The film festival will be hosted at the amazing Palace Cinema in Broadstairs, a truly independent cinema run by Simon and Corinna Downing and powered by local boutique production company and creative agency Bou Mou Productions run by husband and wife team Mark and Charlotte Mounter.”
