Exist Skatestore X Troublemakers hosted “The High Street Comp” in Swansea this past weekend, with the likes of Silas Baxter-Neal, Jake Donnelly, Niels Bennett, Chewy Cannon, Jamal Smith and Benny Fairfax in attendance with world renowned photographer Skin Phillips.

From Friday evening through until Sunday skateboarders took over the Welsh streets, creating new spots with purpose built original obstacles and hitting Exist Skatepark when rain came into play.

Skateboarders and the general public travelled from across the country to partake and witness Ric and Skin’s reified creation, and the event was a huge success at first time of asking. It is sure to grow year after year from this point onwards, especially with all the money raised going towards a concrete plaza.

It’s Skin Phillips hope to put his hometown on the map as a European skateboarding destination, and this was the first step in the right direction. Until next year!
