Sunday Service: Howard Cooke – Heroin ‘Live From Antarctica’ (2005)

From Liverpool to the world with H and the LxBxP.

This Sunday we take you on a trip back to the North West, Liverpool to be precise, as we pay a visit to Howard Cooke and his section from the 2005 Heroin Skateboards DVD ‘Live From Antarctica’.

After a spell residing in the States and riding for Consolidated in the late 90’s and early 00’s, Howard returned full time to his native Liverpool and switched up his seven ply allegiance accordingly, accepting a pro spot on Fos’ expanding Heroin Skateboards operation. For their 2005 Alan Glass produced DVD ‘Live From Antarctica’, Fos managed to get his hands on a substantial amount of footage of Howard in his hometown, as well as coming into clips gathered whilst H was on his travels. In and amongst the obligatory clips from Liverpool and London, you’ll find footage from Athens, Madrid and Japan in the mix, alongside cameos from such notable heads as Doug McLaughlan, Frosty, James Woodley and Adam Cooke. Add a bit of GG Allin into the proceedings and you’re looking at three minutes of unadulterated LxBxP savagery!
