For the second time Stone Cold brought his Texas weather for Newquay’s Broken Skull Challenge 2.0. More chaos was to be had, with some of the same challenges and some new ones to throw your corpse at. Just in case you’re viewing this for the first time and wondering what’s going on here, basically this is the best event in Cornwall that the local skate community gets excited for. It’s funded by skaters for skaters.

Anyone can enter, all abilities, if you’re going to start taking it seriously you might as well not bother coming – with challenges involving the longest, highest, bare footed, croc-wearing, sticker slapping, fire skating, ballbagging, alcohol guzzling and Muska influencing you know you’re in for a giggle. With BSC 2.0 being the third summer event held at Wooden Waves, it shows that Newquay skateboarding is the most vibrant in the South West and deservedly getting the go ahead for a new concrete park with construction being started early next year.
Stay tuned for bigger things to come next year for BSC 3.0, in the meantime delve into the edit and check the photos, alongside the footage from the first Challenge here.
