This weekend, Joss Bay in Broadstairs,Kent, plays host to the first evet Wheels and Fins Festival. The event will include a mini ramp on the beach with a “tricks for beers” jam (hosted by MC Marc Churchill) alongside live music from decent local bands as well as some comical cover bands – namely The LA Doors and The Fool Fighters. The beach bar tent will be serving from 10am till Midnight both days, and the weather is set to be very nice, which is obviously a bonus!

There will also be skateboard slalom and downhill demos and races on the adjacent hill. Other activities include stand up paddle board racing, raft racing and what’s shaping up to be the comedy highlight of the weekend – a home made soap box derby.

The best thing is that it’s all free, so get down and enjoy what could be the last weekend of summer!
