With the kind of impeccable timing you can set your watch by, September means one thing in Sheffield: the annual return of the House Skatepark Comp .

This year we’re promising more of the same which means more exceptional skating than you can shake a stick at, more product giveaways, more cold hard cash prizes, and the kind of atmosphere Russ Abbott would give his last toupee for. As well as having the generous support of industry sponsors for our comp on 13th September, including Death, Heroin, and Lives and Levels, Landscape, plus local shops Avit, Props, Slugger and Legacy, this year we have No Fear Extreme Energy as our headline sponsor, who have stumped up the £1,000 Pro-Comp cash prize.

This means our comp comes with some added extras as No Fear, who roll into Sheffield as the last stop on their Skatepark Takeover Tour are promising to add some touches of their own including DJs from Capital XTRA. Also back by ‘popular demand’ is our very own House MC Nathan Morris. Come down and see what he’s wearing this year. And finally, for one day only, there’s the chance of a sneak preview of our new bowl area which is STILL under construction thanks to broken knees / arms of the hard-working labourers. It will be worth it.
