Powleys ‘Vans in Cuba’ blog

The third part of Powleys ‘Vans UK in Cuba’ blog is ready to be taken in below, concentrating mainly on a rum fueled night out in Havana with James Gardner, Chris Oliver, Gorgeous Dave and plenty of locals in tow. This is the last lot of snaps that have got captions with them, so tomorrow we will round off the blog with a random collection of the unused/uncaptioned pictures that Powley left on the original disc.

Check back tomorrow for more, then…

This is out the front of the hotel where a man charged you to repair disposable lighters, and there was as outdoor barbers.

We never got to meet El Sexto, but we heard he was a real pest.

While everyone else skated the fountain, Granny Dave drank rum.

Gardner showing 23&G some drunken love.

Me and James hung out with this guy for a whole evening, him and his friends were the coolest. He is a BeeGees impersonator called Albert, what a ruler.

This got really messy. This was at about 5.30pm after our first of many bottles of rum.

Throw some shapes up! Cuban women love to dance and they know how to move. Trust.

Brits on the piss, how predictable.

Che is the kingpin of the Havana scene and a top bloke. He was tireless in his efforts to help us out and the success of the trip was pretty much down to him. I hope he gets to see this: Thanks from all of us.
