Ten of the best clips October had to offer

The internet really has disproved the old adage ‘if you throw enough shit at a wall, some is bound to stick’. Turns out that when it comes to skate footage, a more appropriate quote would be ‘if you throw enough shit at a wall, the watcher’s memory will be overwhelmed and drowned in metaphorical faeces’. Which, admittedly, isn’t as catchy. But it is apt; which is why we decided it was high time to offer a regular end of the month reminder of what’s been good, or at least what I specifically think has been good.

Up first is the latest Serious Adult edit from the brains of George Toland and Greg Conroy, featuring the all important elements of a) rad street skating and b) lurkers.

No way this wasn’t making it onto the list – 17 minutes of fresh footage from Real, dropped seemingly out of the blue? Stoked is an understatement!

My personal favourite video of the year so far, gnarly skating and violent hi-jinks in equal measure…

Supra’s ‘Dispatched’ was a rad look at the London skate scene past and present, despite the accidental inclusion of some resolutely Glasgow-based handrails, and is well worth a watch to hype up a capital-bound skate mission.
