Nike SB presents Ishod Wair – Back on my BS, a full new part from the Philadelphia former SOTY which is just as ridiculous as you would expect. This will probably be remembered as one of the parts which cements Ishod’s All Terrain Vehicle status, something which has been a pleasure to watch over the last couple of years as his comfort on transition has come to match the ease with which he skates the gnarliest of rails and stairs. When you can go from a tailblock revert in a backyard pool to a 360 flip down twelve stairs in a manner this non nonsense, you’ve pretty much got there, right?
Filmed and edited by Ant Travis, who went a little left field in comparison to normal skate edit soundtracks by utilising Mark Morrison’s 1996 smash hit Return of the Mack. Reaching number one in the UK charts, it was kept off the top spot in the US Billboard Hot 100 by Hanson’s MMMBop, which in our opinion would have given the edit a very different feel. Perhaps if we get some raw files dropping from this over the next couple of weeks, someone would take it upon themselves to find out? In which case, I’d very much like you to send it through. Payment will come in the form of complete exclusion from all social scenarios and the experience of close friends and relations vehemently denying all knowledge of your existence…
This is also the perfect opportunity to direct your attention to the 2017 Real Skateboards promo By Any Means – a stellar addition to their pantheon of videos but, due to the nature of the internet and the sheer amount of content washing over your frontal lobe daily, one which you may have already lost in the depths of skate video overload. If so…you’re welcome!
