Logsaw skateboards are based in Slovenia and are taking a hands on recycling approach to produce various shaped skateboards.
In their words:
“Logsaw Meat proposes a process where used up skateboards, in exchange for store credit, can be returned to the shop and reshaped into mini cruisers. Offering skateboards to begin with, thus creates a closed loop of circling material, which will never go to waste. There are 5 basic shapes that vary from classic fish, to more square-ish and some experiments with shapes that organically come along the way. But in the end, each cruiser is a bit unique, since the shape has to be adjusted to state the board was in.
Each finished cruiser consists of: Logsaw Meat board, 59x45mm wheels, Codex bearings, 5″ or 7″ trucks, 1″ hardware and a sheet of grip tape. Logsaw Meat also accepts already used skateboards with origin that does not matter, which are then reshaped and redone to a new state, and given back to it’s owner. Logsaw Meat goes with the saying: Boards are meant for violence or getting around. Either way, it’s good fun.
Logsaw Meat ships worldwide.”
