Following on from the recent news that Hull City Council was aiming to make the town a skateboarding mecca, we’ve just got word of the Hull Skateboard Festival which will take place with weekly jams at parks across the city from late July until late August.

Not only will there be cash and plenty of prizes up for grabs, but the events are skateboard only so you’ll get to enjoy the rare treat of a park filled with only skateboarders!
