The House of Vans October skate dates can be found below, including a Girls Night on the 12th and a Sk8 Fry-day Lord of the Swords special on the 20th. Their regular girls night offers up free yoga and cocktails alongside skateboarding, while the Lord of the Swords 2017 awards night is bound to be a big one – expect to see nearly the entirety of Essex’s skate scene, in an enclosed space, with copious amounts of booze. Girls Skate Night – October 12th

Calling all female shredders out there, join House of Vans for their all-girl get together and come hit the bowl, mini ramp and brand new street area from 6:00 pm. If you need to reconcile with the universe, 7:00 pm it’s boards down time with an hour of free yoga. Alternatively, enjoy cocktails on the house all night, while GRLS Talk duo provide the soundtrack. Girl skating will be on all night until close – drink responsibly! Yoga mats are provided on a first come first served basis. All ages and abilities welcome.

Skate Session: 18:00 – 22:00

Sk8 Fry-day – Lord of the Swords special

Join House of Vans for a Lords of the Swords Skate Frydays Special on October 20th. Competing skate teams from around the country have battled it out, earning themselves points for completing challenges from the Lords Challenge Book. Each team has made an edit of their adventure and now the public get to vote for their fave on www.lordsoftheswords.com. Get yourself down to House to Vans to watch the crowing of the winners and the top 5 edits, which are being screened in the 100-seat cinema.  

DJs, cash for tricks and delicious fried chicken and ice cold beers will be up for grabs as usual!
