From Sidewalk 209 – February 2014
Harry Veitch, Barry Peach, Professor Plum. Call him what you will. If there’s a security guard to upset, some litter to drop, or some secret/awkward spot to destroy/blow up then Bazzledon Peach is your man. Keen as mustard to skate, cause mischief, and thrash around on any punter’s cruiser/fixie/mo-ped in circles like a spider monkey from the Wizard of Oz, then no comply into the sunset and skip the last Metro home. That aside the kids got skills: Skills and style. And that’s what it’s about.
A big bag of tricks (some a little to en vogue for my blood) and he’s cheeky for a wee one but I’ve got his back. Big ups to Barry Peach – Swan Gang Up In This Bitch once he’s grown up a bit and learned to button it I’ll buy him a pint.

Harry Veitch; Newcastle’s new ATV (sorry Blinky) always full of raw energy, enthusiasm and everything else that comes with being a kid so stoked on skateboarding. Always down for a skate, whether it’s a chilled session on some slappy curbs or me taking him to some grimy spots to perform in front of the camera. I’ve had the pleasure of skating with Harry since day one and have watched him get better and better, so this First Light in my opinion has been a long time coming and a long time in the making. We planned this photo months in advance and figured the only day we would ever be able to skate it would be
on Christmas Day. He thought I was joking until he received the call on Xmas morning asking if he was still down. The spot is right outside the front door of a busy hotel and is an instant bust 364 days of the year, so we hit it on Xmas afternoon with turkey in our bellies and Santa hats in hand to dry the run up.
So anyway, keep an eye on young Harry, he’s got a banger of a part in the making for Adam Todhunter’s new video (yet to be named) and hopefully you’ll be seeing more of him in these pages some time soon.
