Francis Peters Remix by James Harris

Footage from Community Parts 1 and 2 and Vin

James Harris has compiled a whole load of footage filmed over 2017 and 2018 for and put together this Francis Peters remix edit, which sees the Bristolian (well, Yattonian) youth taking to the streets at speed and putting down all manner of dipped back smiths, precision nosebonks, flowing lines and well caught flip tricks.

The streets of the South West are hardly the smoothest known to mankind so it’s rad to see the next generation still bringing something new to an area which has always been a hotbed of skateboarding talent.

The footage in the above clip is taken from the following James Harris productions;

Community Part 1 and Part 2, the combined footage of which explores the Bristol skate scene.

Vin – a montage edit celebrating the birth of his son Vincent, once again based in the Bristol area.

While you’re delving headfirst into this hyperlink maelstrom, why not pause for breath at James’ killer full length scene video Little Paradise and wonder at why you don’t live in the West Country, or frolic joyously in the knowledge that you do if that is the case…

Check out Francis’ First Light via the excerpt discussing skate spot aesthetics below;

“I don’t think it matters too much, if someone can do something new and interesting at a rinsed spot then that is cool. I just happen to be in a position where I’m around lesser known areas for skateboarding and you just spot things if you keep a keen eye out. I also work as a courier so that takes you out to some places you’d never go otherwise. If a spot’s aesthetic is nice then that’s a plus, and it can do a lot for a clip. If it’s cohesive to a certain idea then that’s rad too but I can’t tell if all this off the point, I guess that sort of stuff matters as much as you want it to.”
