Sidewalk's favourite mid skate-vid oddballs
If there’s one thing that you learn quickly when you first start skateboarding, its that being out on the streets with a board makes you some kind of nutter magnet. From the roid-rage hair gel stand trying to fight you for reasons you or even he can’t quite comprehend, to the overly chatty drunk telling you how they ‘used to skate’ as they swig Special Brew, to the well-meaning but clearly bonkers pedestrian ranting to you about rocket-powered rollerblades, society’s fringes sense something about us that demand interaction.
As frustrating as this can be in the middle of a four hour trick battle, luckily for skate video audiences it can also offer hilarious and endlessly quotable interludes between video sections and we decided it was high time to compile some of our favourite skate video lurkers.
