Dublin DIY clip from High Rollers skatestore

Cool little Dublin DIY skate clip from High Rollers skate store

A ledge, a wall, painted kerbs, two road cones and a pug.
What more do you need?
Not a great deal, judging from this cool little clip that dropped earlier this week from an unnamed Dublin DIY build.
Filmed and edited by High Rollers Skate Store owner and general solid human Naoise McCarthy – this is an enjoyable 2 and a half minutes of fun-looking DIY sessions set to a Guru classic from his Jazzmatazz album.
We’re not entirely sure as to the whereabouts or the provenance of this little DIY spot but we want to go skate it, now.

Featuring Dublin heads Michael McMaster, Karolis Pausa, Jonathan McConkey, Phili Halton, Dion McGarrity and Mark Foran – whilst this is most definitely low on the triple-kinks, we can guarantee that you’ll want to go skating afterwards, which, surely, is the point, right?
Also, lines with switch shove-it flips in them are always a winner for us.

Watch the clip, then take your fingers for a virtual tour of Naoise’s Dublin skater-owned-store via the link here: highrollersdublin.com

Once you’ve done that, if the above has whet your appetite for more Dublin-based skateboarding, (or indeed, more Irish skateboarding in general) we’ve got you covered.

If you want to know what happened when DC Shoes somehow convinced the powers-that-be to let 100’s of skateboarders take over the city for a weekend, (along with flying in skaters from all over the world) – check out this archive classic via DC King of Dublin coverage from back in 2009.
If staring at photos on your phone is more your thing then you can check out our gallery of Irish skateboarding photos here, or if you’re looking for an answer to the question, “Are there any skate spots on the West Coast of Ireland?” you can peep Craig Dodds and co’s Siar – tour of the West Coast of Ireland here.
Finally – get yourselves over to www.skateeire.ie and keep up to date with all things skateboarding-related in Ireland.
