DC Shoes presents the DC Latam Supertour

A heavy DC crew hits South and Central America

DC Shoes presents the DC Latam Supertour, heading across Central and South America and taking in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Peru and Mexico along the way. Obviously with this being a Supertour and all, with a long and storied history in skateboarding (see the 1997 grand opening of what was then Playstation Skatepark in North London), things can’t really be done by halves. As such, what you have here is a full length video promo featuring some of the company’s heaviest hitters barging some of the gnarliest and best terrain unlikely to be visited by Donald Trump any time soon.

DC have been quietly amassing some of the best skateboarders around right now into a tight knit team and we are definitely reaping the videographic benefits – want to see Evan Smith destroy a crusty bank to ledge which looks like it has a run up involving four lanes of traffic? Done. Want to see Tiago Lemos pop his board switch into tricks others wouldn’t pop their board into regular? It’s in there. Want to see Tristan Funkhouser down a beer whilst boardsliding a handrail before smashing the bottle on the floor? Probably not – that shit nearly turned me into Mike Ferraro – but the option is there if you want it.

With DC team riders Tiago Lemos, Wes Kremer, Evan Smith, Carlos Iqui, Tristan Funkhouser and Alexis Ramirez in the van, alongside various local riders making appearances throughout, then you can be guaranteed that this one will get you hyped in some way, shape or form!

Filmed by Chris Ray and Jimmy Astleford.

“February 2018 saw the DC Skateboarding team travel to Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Peru and Mexico. The boys stepped up and delivered across the 5 country stops. Now you get to sit in front of your interweb device and feel like you were a part of the whole thing!”
