Lucy Adams and the Crawley Freestyle Association have been grafting away recently in an attempt to raise the cash needed to get an all new mini-ramp installed at Crawley Park. Through running events and courses, coaching and winning a £5k of match funding from the Courage Dyer Trust, they’ve reached their £10,000 target and work on the ramp is now underway. Word has passed this way that the ramp should be ready to skate by the middle of next week, with a jam already being planned for the end of August/start of September.
For now, check the photo of the construction below and keep an eye on www.crawleyfreestyle.co.uk for updates.
Don’t be forgetting it’s the annual Crawley comp this coming Saturday too – click here for the details.
Props to Lucy and co for making this happen!
