The Chrome Ball Incident follows on from it’s Danny Way interview (via the Koston interview) by catching up with another vert skateboarding icon, Tony Hawk.
This one is just as in depth as you’d expect from Chops, starting off with the Animal Chin era and going on to cover Birdhouse, trying to skate street (“Unfortunately, after I rolled each of my ankles twice over the course of a two-week tour, I had to come to grips with the fact that it just wasn’t my forte”), rumour mills, Hosoi, Steve Berra crying over him smoking weed, Baker, Tas Pappas and much more.
