Established in 2003, Syndrome Distribution’s truck brand Silver aims to cater for modern street skating offering a range of light, high-performance trucks in various sizes designed with technical street skateboarding in mind.

Silver offer two main product lines with the Silver L-Class truck range offering a range of low trucks (the height between the base plate and the grinding surface of the hanger), and the M-Class range which offer higher trucks.

The main issue to consider with truck height is the size of wheels that you will be able to choose. With a higher model like the Silver M-Class Hollow Skateboard Truck you will be able to choose wheels around the 52 – 55mm diameter range with no concerns about wheel-bite.

In terms of a suitably sized deck, with these Silver M-Class Hollows you can comfortably select a deck from between the 7.75” to 8” width range.

This particular Silver M-Class Hollow Truck is slightly smaller than the industry standard in terms of both hanger and axle-width and with custom lightweight hollow Silver kingpins, will come in a fair bit lighter than a more traditional engineered truck.

Silver’s axles are built to avoid slippage inside the hanger and come with custom premium bushings and a low set kingpin to maximize ‘lock in’ on grinds without the kingpin nut impeding the grind.

One other advantage of selecting a high truck is that it increases the distance between your deck’s tail and the ground, making for extra pop whilst performing tricks.

This particular model comes with an all black hanger and axle (embossed with the Silver logo) and a traditional silver base plate. Silver also produce a range of M-Class Hollow trucks with custom beer-brand inspired graphics, multiple colour options and a pro model truck for their most celebrated rider Josh Kalis.
