Best breakfast spot: The Crews Mess, Shirley yo!
Best form of transportation: My badass whip, or the Brewkiller!
Best skate shop: Off Beat Sportz (R.I.P), or its replacement Reskue. Failing that, hit up Grim at Freestyle, haha.
Best record shop: Weasels when it was in St Mary’s.
Best band: The Dukes of Argres, HYTHECORE! Although Prozium where pretty awesome the other night.
Best album: “Raising The Dead” by The Dukes of Argres when they get out of the studio.
Best local video: “Uncut 2000”, a very roughly edited scene video me and The Donz made, that shit was awesome!
Best video section: Dean Jones in The Chip Shop Army’s “Chip Shops & Shit Spots”.
Best local – back in the day: Greg Nowik.
Best local – present: Greg Nowik. Dude, that guy’s STILL killing it!
Best skate spot – back in the day: Asda curbs, with Slappy Russ.
Best skate spot – present: Bells Plaza. Haha. You do know Southampton has no spots, right?
Best undercover spot: Marble car park, that place has seen some shit in its time. Simon Blundel REPRESENT!
Best skatepark – back in the day: Mayflower R.I.P
Best skatepark – present: Eastleigh Bowl y’all.
Best bar: Goblets is without the best bar on this earth!
Best nightclub: Nexus R.I.P haha. Everything’s dead in Southampton! Umm now, I think…maybe The Soul Cellar.
Best restaurant: Ranchos, The Rancho Trio steak is flesh eating at its best!
Best local slang phrase: “Put the coping back on” when you hang up on a ramp. Haha.
Best point of local interest/tourist must see: The Bargate, or Martin Stiffin’s absurdly massive penis!
Best local celebrity: Craig David…said the “Bo Selecta!” way! Benny Hill was a milkman in Eastleigh.
Best thing about living in Southampton: The sun rises and sets here! There’s sooooo many good skate spots…nooooot. The Titanic set sail from here, it’s easy to get out to somewhere better!
