Friday 24th October saw NikeSB and Sidewalk host a chaotic skate session through the West End with a huge group of local skaters and Sidewalk contest winners joining NikeSB riders Fernando Bramsmark, Hjalte Halberg, Tom Harrison, Neil Smith, Charlie Birch, Chris Jones, Kyron Davis and Casper Brooker blasting en masse from Nike Town, through the busy streets via Slam City Skates, and finishing up at BaySixty6 for one of the best jams the park has seen this year.
BaySixty6’s new features (the combo wallride and the reinstated mini ramp) were officially unveiled and received a serious working from NikeSB riders and locals alike.
Everyone went in hard, earning kudos and cash in the Best Trick Jam on the new wallride piece, and the atmosphere was electric throughout the evening.
Keep an eye out for the full gallery and edit, due to drop early next week on Sidewalk.
