West London ripper Ross McGouran is a part of the Element Europe team, and his incredible section was one of the highlights of the brand’s internationally well-received Hold It Down video in 2013. For Element, he also appeared in Yves Marchon’s full-length Get Busy Living in 2010, alongside riders such as Madars Apse and Nassim Guammaz.
He is also a pro rider for Vans Europe, appearing in Roll With Us (2008) and 1966 (2010) and going on trips to countries such as Sri Lanka, China and New Zealand/Australia. Most recently, he was seen taking apart the DC Embassy in Barcelona in a ‘Pop In Pop Out’ edit, and he has had impressive parts in Perus Crew’s full-length Get The Fuckin Beers In Dickhead! and the Carhartt WIP x Kingpin production Phil Zwijsen’s Time Chase.
Ross was born on 1st February 1988 in London, and began to skate 13 years ago after first seeing the unforgiving rad concrete transitions of the Harrow Skate Park. He came up quickly through the sponsored ranks due to his ability to skate anything during an age of specialisation, and it wasn’t long before he was flying through every contest he entered, blasting everyone in sight.
He has become one of the fastest and most engaged skaters around, with an unmatched serene, effortless style and a huge bag of tricks. He makes skating transitions seem incredibly easy, but, as his recent video clips show, he is happiest putting down a mindblowing mix of park and street footage.
